To rent a car with us, the driver must be at least 21 years old and possess a driving license for a minimum of 3 years. If you do not fulfill these criteria, please reach out to us via email at be4utifulmadeiracar@gmail.com for further assistance.

Please provide us with a valid driver's license and a passport or ID. We cannot rent a car to you without the physical driver's license document in your possession, unless you have an official substitute document issued by the appropriate authorities.

Insurance coverage does not extend to instances of negligence, which may include:

  1. Negligent driving (off-road, restricted areas, driving on the wrong side, etc.)
  2. Improper parking (failure to use the handbrake, etc.)
  3. Loss of car keys or vehicle documents
  4. Incorrect fuel usage
  5. Interior damage to the car
  6. Parking and speeding fines
  7. Failure to report accidents and/or damages
  8. Other negligent situations

In the event of vehicle damage, please contact us promptly with photographs of the car and details of the incident's location and circumstances. If an accident involves other vehicles, you must immediately notify both the police and our company. Do not sign any documents without our approval. Remember to record the license plate numbers, insurance policy information, and contact details of all involved drivers.

A credit card is not required for booking. Full payment can be made upon receiving the car, using either cash or a card (debit or credit).

Generally, there is no deposit or excess required, with the exception of these specific circumstances:

  • Damage to tires, wheels, locks, the vehicle's interior, or instances of vandalism
  • Negligence, improper use of the vehicle, or driving under the influence of alcohol or mind-altering substances
  • Traffic violations

Madeira Airport:
Please provide your estimated arrival time, not the time you expect to be outside the airport. Additionally, include your flight number in our form so we can monitor your arrival and potential delays. For drop-off, we recommend scheduling it 2 hours prior to your departure flight.

Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedure:
Since we do not have an office at the airport, one of our agents will meet you outside the arrivals area. The car will be parked in the arrivals parking lot. For drop-off, we will provide instructions on where to leave the car and keys.

Hotel or Airbnb:
Select your hotel or accommodation area from our list and provide the hotel name and/or address in the notes section of the booking form. An agent will meet you at the hotel reception, with the car parked outside. Please note that location fees may apply.

If your flight is delayed, please inform us as soon as possible about the changes, allowing us to arrange for an agent to meet you at the airport. Additional charges may apply if you arrive on a night flight (e.g., a €35 fee).

We will monitor your arrival and be aware if you are unable to reach Madeira as planned. Please contact us as soon as possible to update us on your new arrival date and time.

If you want to retain your booking, provide us with your new flight information, and we will reserve the car for you. The initial booking price will remain the same, though additional charges may apply for circumstances such as a night flight arrival (e.g., a €35 fee).

If you prefer to cancel your booking, please inform us accordingly.

Yes, even though we don't have an office at the airport, one of our agents will be waiting for you outside the arrivals area. We will provide you with the contact information and name of the agent responsible for delivering the car to you. Please note that additional charges apply for night deliveries.

Yes, you can return the car at those times. We will provide instructions on where to park the car and where to leave the keys when you pick up the vehicle.

To book a car, please use our website, as we do not accept bookings via phone or email. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Select your desired pick-up and drop-off locations.
  2. Enter the required dates and times.
  3. Choose your preferred vehicle category.
  4. Provide your personal details.

The process is quick and straightforward!

Upon submitting your booking, you will receive an automated email from our website containing a summary of your reservation and an order number. However, this does not confirm your booking.

You will receive another automated email within 48 hours, notifying you of the status of your booking—either "confirmed" or "canceled."

If you need to cancel your booking before your arrival date, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make the car available to others.

Since no online payments are required for booking, there are no cancellation fees.

However, if you have already picked up your car, made the payment, and decide to return it earlier than planned, we maintain a no-refund policy.

If you would like to modify your reservation, please make a new booking on our website and request that we cancel your current one. Be aware that prices vary depending on the season, so if your changes result in a price difference, the applicable rate at the time of your amendment will be applied.

Yes, you can extend your rental agreement. Please get in touch with us via email or phone to inquire about the possibility of retaining the car for a longer period. We will then arrange a meeting for you to make the additional payment.

You are expected to return the car with the same amount of fuel as when you received it. If the fuel level is lower upon return, we will charge you for the difference.

Yes, we charge out-of-hours fees. For pick-ups or drop-offs between 9 PM (21:00) and 8 AM (08:00), an additional €20 fee will be applied.

Yes, we charge location fees as follows:

  • Airport: €20
  • Hotel outside Funchal: €35

The company reserves the right to retrieve the vehicle and terminate the contract if misuse of the vehicle is confirmed or if a report is submitted to the relevant authorities regarding irregular behavior.
